SDCC 2016: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 coming to Current-Gen consoles

Some gaming news from SDCC 2016.. The Marvel Ultimate Alliance games are coming to current-gen consoles this week!

Both games are available digitally only at the moment and there's no mention of a disc version being available anytime soon.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 covered the Civil War storyline so that's something you want to check out.

I have played both of these games back on the older consoles and they are really fun. Definitely something best played with friends where you can do special moves with other characters.

However, with the free-to-play Marvel Heroes MMO available on PC, I'm not very sure if I want to get this game again.. It's still a really fun game so I might just wait for it to go on sale.

SDCC 2016: The Rest - Blizzard, XM Studios & Multiverse

Showed you guys so many of my favourite collectibles from so many different companies.. Here's the rest!

Multiverse Studio had the 1/6 Ayane Statue from the Ninja Gaiden series for sale at the con.

Beautiful-looking statue and it really compliments their Ryu Hayabusa Statue with it's pose and base.

Not to worry if you missed out on this, this is still available at Entertainment Earth, among other sites:

Blizzard showcased the 2nd statue in their World of Warcraft series, Illidan.

Oh boy, this looks absolutely phenomenal. What a stunning piece! 1 of my favourite heroes from Warcraft 3, this one has to be a purchase for me!

Check out this video of Illidan!

Just woah!

XM Studios' The Darkness 1/4 Statue was on display at the Top Cow booth.

Another absolute stunner of a piece! Glad to have this pre-ordered, so just waiting for it's release. Going to be my first XM Studios' statue so pretty excited, having seen them grow so fast in the past few years.

Already tipped to be a Statue of the year contender so we will see.. Whatever it is, it's going to be an amazing feeling just owning this piece.

That's about all in terms of collectibles from SDCC 2016 that I'm interested in. A few have already been pre-ordered and I should own them in the next few months or so. If budget permits, might grab a few more..

Hope you guys enjoyed the pics & vids I shared with you guys!

SDCC 2016: Gecco - Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, Metal Gear Solid V

And the updates continue..

Gecco had a good mix of 1/6 Statues from several games. A nice scale for me for statues in terms of gaming characters that I'm not such a huge fan of, but would still like to have because I enjoyed the games.

Bloodborne

Some pics of the Hunter statue that was released some time back..

This is something I like, even though I have heard mixed reviews about it. Comes at a price, so I have put it on hold until I finish playing the game to see if I would enjoy it as much as I think I would.

Extra accessories were promised for this and here they are..

Also shown was the unpainted prototype of the next statue from Bloodborne, Doll.

Not sure who this character is, but that's some creepy shit to have around the house..

Dark Souls 3

Haven't touched the Souls games either, gonna see if I can manage Bloodborne first before I try the tougher Souls games.

Will end this post with a few Metal Gear Solid V pics..

SDCC 2016: All things Assassin's Creed

Oh yes.. How can I be updating my blog with my favourite stuff from SDCC 2016 without including Assassin's Creed?

Here's all my favourites from my beloved AC franchise!

First things first! The print below was given out exclusively at the con, limited to only 100 pieces. Anyone willing to see it to me?

Do email me at jveron004@gmail.com or contact me on FB if you are interested in selling your copy!

Also saw this image..

The item with the cover art? Is that a print or a book? If it's a print, anyone willing to sell that as well?

Ok moving on..
Here's a close-up look of the Assassin's Creed Movie figure from McFarlane Toys, from their new Colour Tops line, which are basically bigger, better action figures. (More explained here)

and their hidden blade replica from the movie.

and the Project TriForce's Jacob Statue..

Disappointingly, still in it's unpainted form.. Almost a year after it was first shown and open for pre-orders, we still don't have any update or progress on this statue?

Rather worrying, considering Project TriForce's long waiting times.. Would have liked to see at least a painted prototype by now..

1 piece of exclusive news from SDCC 2016 was that Titan Comics will be publishing the Assassin's Creed Awakening Japanese Manga comic in English!

This mini-series is expected to be released in November in standard single-size, single issues, and will continue the pirate adventures of Edward Kenway from AC IV: Black Flag.

I have never read a manga comic before, but I guess there's always a first for everything. Not going to miss out on more adventures on one of my favourite Assassins..

Full details at Multiversity Comics.

Cool stuff! Don't forget to contact me if you are selling any AC stuff as always!

SDCC 2016: Weta Workshop - Warcraft

More Warcraft movie collectibles at SDCC 2016 from Weta Workshop!

Some life-sized props..

Guessing these are just for show and not for sale, at least for the common collector..

As mentioned in a previous post, I'm interested in getting some collectibles from the Warcraft movie, but haven't found the right ones yet..

Tempted to go small with something like these..

1/6 armours alone are kinda boring.. Would appreciate more character in them.. literally lol!

The 1/10 Durotan statue looks not too bad to be honest and a lot more afforable than Gentle Giant's pieces. Yes 1/10 does seem a bit small but the orcs are huge so they are just about a head smaller than a 1/6 as seen in the pics.

Hmm, not 100% convinced on these yet but definitely putting these under the watchlist. No hurry yet though.. Damtoys have announced that they will be producing 1/4 and 1/3 statues from the movie so I would like to check those out first before committing to a line.

What Warcraft Movie Collectibles are you getting? I'm interested to know!

SDCC 2016: PCS Collectibles - Mortal Kombat

PCS was at SDCC 2016 too! Only a small booth though and no new Mortat Kombat reveals.. We might have to wait till NYCC 2016 for that.

The Mortal Kombat X Scorpion 1/4 Statue was on show though..

What a beauty! Glad I got the EX pre-ordered early as it's sold out now. The Standard Edition is still available at PCS' website, with some discounts with the various payment plans. Don't miss out on this if you are a Mortal Kombat fan!

Edit: Added a video to show Scorpion in all his glory. All credit to the uploader..

Several Street Fighter statues & figures were also on display, you can head over to ToyArk to see the pics..

Don't usually post non-gaming stuff on the blog but I got to make an exception here, for Sons of Anarchy! Loved this show and the biker theme in general and I really want to see more SoA figures from PCS Collectibles, hopefully the whole crew.

So check it out and get these if you are a fan!

The likeness to the actors is spot on! Have these pre-ordered as well, with strong hopes for this line.
