More Assassin's Creed Movie Collectibles

As the biggest movie of the year, for me at least, approaches, more official Assassin's Creed Movie merchandise have popped up!

There's figures of both Aguilar and Maria, who will be the main protagonists from the movie if you don't know by now..

Both of which, can be combined to make a diorama..

Not very sure which company is producing these but it looking at the diorama, could it be another UbiCollectibles & Pure Arts project? Will update if I get some news..

There's also a Apple of Eden replica.

I would really like to see how this looks in person, with the lights and all. So, this sort of proves that the Apple of Eden will make an appearance in the movie, as part of the many artifacts that the Assassins & Templars are seeking to control.

Again, not sure who's producing this collectible. Also, is this the same AoE replica that UbiWorkshop has been working on forever?

I'll be looking to pick these new collectibles up, but as of now they are only available to pre-order in Canada.

That's quite a bit of collectibles announced already. However, I would really like to see Hot Toys picking up the movie license and make some 1/6 figures from the movie. There's plenty of high quality 1/6 figure manufacturers but I still don't think anyone is on par with Hot Toys' level of actor likeness. Fingers crossed!

Which movie collectibles are you planning to get and which ones are you hoping to see? Feel free to comment below!

PCS Collectibles' Mortal Kombat updates & teases - 26 Aug 2016

Plenty of updates to share from PCS Collectibles' Mortal Kombat Statue lines, post SDCC 2016..

This was posted just after SDCC 2016 and check out that Kintaro and Kotal Kahn. Both are 1/4 scale and they look huge. All of these are factory samples.

Here's a detailed look at Kotal Kahn..

Just look at that skin details. Pre-ordered both the War God and Blood God versions, will need to save up for a Sun God version quick.

Work on 1/3 Goro has already started, which should be based on the Mortal Kombat X design..

Not 100% sure which concept they have chosen from the earlier poll but it could very well be changed.

Another 1/3 in the works is Mileena!

Again, there's a poll asking which outfit collectors would like to see and I have never seen a more divided poll. There are the old-school Klassic fans and then there's those who prefer the more detailed and modern outfits from Mortal Kombat X, but can't seem to decide on which one from the various outfits available.

However, it looks like the majority, like me, still prefer the MK9 outfit which I believe were the best outfits for the ladies for obvious reasons.. *wink* *wink*

Unfortunately, Jerry has already said several times that Netherrealm Studios have told PCS Collectibles to focus on MKX for marketing purposes. So, let's see how this turns out..

From some comments mentioned, we could see more than 1 outfit for Mileena. Whatever it is, it's going to be some tough decision-making.

Work has already started however.. so maybe they have decided already?

Things are moving fast on the Sub-Zero Lifesize Bust as well..

Here's the fully sculpted bust..

But that's from quite a while ago..

Bust is fully painted already..

We might see full photos very soon in fact..

Jerry answered a few questions regarding the Busts..

So, the Busts (inc Scorpion) will be close to 1000 USD each and regarding the 2 Pre-orders in September, we could get a double dose of Sub-Zero.

I didn't get the MK9 Sub-Zero Bust but I have the Scorpion one. Somehow the MK9 Sub-Zero just didn't wow me as much. So. was planning to get just the MKX Scorpion Bust this time but looking at this, it looks really good.

With some of the earlier pre-orders scheduled for release on September-October, got to start preparing for an expensive September!

UbiCollectibles' Watch Dogs 2' Wrench Figurine

And yup.. Just like how UbiCollectibles did companion figures for the Assassin's Creed figures, Watch Dogs 2 will be getting the same treatment as well.

UbiCollectibles will be releasing a stand-alone Wrench figurine which will act as a companion piece to the Marcus figurine from the San Francisco Edition.

Just like how Assassin's Creed had it, now Watch Dogs will also be getting a companion figurine to form a diorama.

Check out the trailer for the figurine as well..

Check it out.. There's going to be 3 different removable masks for Wrench! Something to play around with depending on your liking..

I love the diorama idea so why not? In fact, why not?! *points below*

New images of McFarlane's Assassin's Creed figures

New images for the new  McFarlane Toys' Color Tops Assassin's Creed figures have emerged.

Connor

Aguilar

A lot more pics on Aguilar.

This is going to be a very popular figure once the movie is out. Both Movie-goers and AC fans will be looking to pick this up.

Details on the outfit are just spectacular, definitely getting both of these figures.

More shots of Aguilar..

Excellent figure! Or should I say statue? As far as I know, both Connor and Aguilar were labelled as 7 inch figures which were supposed to be more detailed but with less articulation, but as you can see.. All the pics only show 1 pose for either figure.

So, I would really like to know if these are now mini-statues or are they still action figures? Kindly post below if you have any info!

Gamescom 2016: Mafia 3 Heist Trailer

Mafia 3 will be my next game purchase and with it's Oct 7 release date approaching, and Gamescom 2016 happening this weekend, here's a brand new trailer for us Mafia fans!

Just a word of caution, there seems to be some kind of spoilers towards the end. Not a lot but from what I know of the game, this looks like it is from the early part of the game. So, if you are very particular about this kind of stuff, you might want to give it a miss.

If you watched it, this looks like the part before Lincoln goes on a revenge mission against the Mafia.

Will be putting up more trailers and details on Mafia 3 as we approach it's release date, and also news & updates from my favourite games at Gamescom 2016 as it happens. Do check back and come chat with me about games!

Assassin's Creed - Last Descendants: Locus new Comic Book series announced

Titan Comics have announced a 3rd monthly Comic Book series, which will start on Sept 21, 2016.

According to Titan Comics, "Assassin's Creed: Locus will will follow the story of Sean, a teenager caught up in the Assassin's Creed and Templar conflict in present day, as he peers back into the memories of his ancestor Tommy Greyling and gets to experience the sordid squalor of Victorian London (as seen in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate). A captivating adventure unfolds, with Greyling hunting for the answers to a mystery that could change the world."

The Synopsis
Brand new story set in the stunning world of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate! Dive into the sordid underworld of Victorian London, and the memories of New Yorker, Tommy Greyling, as he teams up with Evie Frye and Henry Green to search for a Piece of Eden that has the potential to change the world!

This new comic book series will be a tie-in with the upcoming novel, Last Descendants.

Synopsis for the novel:

Nothing in Owen's life has been right since his father died in prison, accused of a crime Owen is certain he didn't commit. Monroe, the IT guy at school, might finally bring Owen the means to clear his father's name by letting him use an Animus-a device that lets users explore genetic memories buried within their own DNA. During a simulation, Owen comes uncovers the existence of a powerful relic long considered a legend-the Trident of Eden. Now two secret organizations will stop at nothing to take possession of this artifact-the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order. It becomes clear the only way to save himself is to find the Trident first.

Under the guidance of Monroe, Owen and a group of other teenagers go into a memory they all share within their DNA: the 1863 Draft Riots in New York City. Owen and his companions will find themselves tested on the violent streets of New York, and their experiences in the past will have far-reaching consequences in the present.

The novel and the comic series look like they will focus on different characters and time-lines but the connection to both is the present-day conflict between the Assassins and the Templars

Like I mentioned before, I would like to see the different comics and games somehow tying up together instead of branching out too much into various historical periods. Having said that, I'm very excited for the AC: Locus comic series as Evie Frye and Henry Green will be making a come-back.

And as before, the launch of the first issue comes with it several cover variants as seen below.

With a blank cover as always..

It looks like the AC milking has moved over to comics but if there are good stories and returning characters, I'm always interested!
