Assassin's Creed - Last Descendants: Locus new Comic Book series announced

Titan Comics have announced a 3rd monthly Comic Book series, which will start on Sept 21, 2016.

According to Titan Comics, "Assassin's Creed: Locus will will follow the story of Sean, a teenager caught up in the Assassin's Creed and Templar conflict in present day, as he peers back into the memories of his ancestor Tommy Greyling and gets to experience the sordid squalor of Victorian London (as seen in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate). A captivating adventure unfolds, with Greyling hunting for the answers to a mystery that could change the world."

The Synopsis
Brand new story set in the stunning world of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate! Dive into the sordid underworld of Victorian London, and the memories of New Yorker, Tommy Greyling, as he teams up with Evie Frye and Henry Green to search for a Piece of Eden that has the potential to change the world!

This new comic book series will be a tie-in with the upcoming novel, Last Descendants.

Synopsis for the novel:

Nothing in Owen's life has been right since his father died in prison, accused of a crime Owen is certain he didn't commit. Monroe, the IT guy at school, might finally bring Owen the means to clear his father's name by letting him use an Animus-a device that lets users explore genetic memories buried within their own DNA. During a simulation, Owen comes uncovers the existence of a powerful relic long considered a legend-the Trident of Eden. Now two secret organizations will stop at nothing to take possession of this artifact-the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order. It becomes clear the only way to save himself is to find the Trident first.

Under the guidance of Monroe, Owen and a group of other teenagers go into a memory they all share within their DNA: the 1863 Draft Riots in New York City. Owen and his companions will find themselves tested on the violent streets of New York, and their experiences in the past will have far-reaching consequences in the present.

The novel and the comic series look like they will focus on different characters and time-lines but the connection to both is the present-day conflict between the Assassins and the Templars

Like I mentioned before, I would like to see the different comics and games somehow tying up together instead of branching out too much into various historical periods. Having said that, I'm very excited for the AC: Locus comic series as Evie Frye and Henry Green will be making a come-back.

And as before, the launch of the first issue comes with it several cover variants as seen below.

With a blank cover as always..

It looks like the AC milking has moved over to comics but if there are good stories and returning characters, I'm always interested!

SDCC 2016: All things Assassin's Creed

Oh yes.. How can I be updating my blog with my favourite stuff from SDCC 2016 without including Assassin's Creed?

Here's all my favourites from my beloved AC franchise!

First things first! The print below was given out exclusively at the con, limited to only 100 pieces. Anyone willing to see it to me?

Do email me at jveron004@gmail.com or contact me on FB if you are interested in selling your copy!

Also saw this image..

The item with the cover art? Is that a print or a book? If it's a print, anyone willing to sell that as well?

Ok moving on..
Here's a close-up look of the Assassin's Creed Movie figure from McFarlane Toys, from their new Colour Tops line, which are basically bigger, better action figures. (More explained here)

and their hidden blade replica from the movie.

and the Project TriForce's Jacob Statue..

Disappointingly, still in it's unpainted form.. Almost a year after it was first shown and open for pre-orders, we still don't have any update or progress on this statue?

Rather worrying, considering Project TriForce's long waiting times.. Would have liked to see at least a painted prototype by now..

1 piece of exclusive news from SDCC 2016 was that Titan Comics will be publishing the Assassin's Creed Awakening Japanese Manga comic in English!

This mini-series is expected to be released in November in standard single-size, single issues, and will continue the pirate adventures of Edward Kenway from AC IV: Black Flag.

I have never read a manga comic before, but I guess there's always a first for everything. Not going to miss out on more adventures on one of my favourite Assassins..

Full details at Multiversity Comics.

Cool stuff! Don't forget to contact me if you are selling any AC stuff as always!
