Fine.. Fine! I know I promised no more Gangnam Style videos on here any more but how often do we keep to our promises.. Besides I couldn't resist..
Oh god.. It's gonna take a while before I play Mortal Kombat again.. I'll need to wipe this horrific memory off my head.. I don't want to remember this video while I'm playing Mortal Kombat..
In other normal MK news..
Hope the movie's good. The first 2 movies had cheesy lines but still awesome.
The Mortal Kombat Legacy webseries had better acting and lines but were missing the costumes, probably due to the low budget. But a Mortal Kombat movie will need costumes and make-up to work. If I'm not wrong, Michael Jai White and Jeri Ryan(among others) will be cast as Jax and Sonya respectively. Cool! But when I watch the MK movie, I want to see Jax and Sonya Blade, not the actors.
I remember there was a Street Fighter movie sometime back, Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li. Had a pretty good cast of actors but the costumes and make-up were bad, almost none! It looked more like a kungfu movie rather than a Street Fighter movie!
So hoping to see good use of costumes and make-up in the MK movie so that we can actually easily recognise the Mortal Kombat characters. Shouldn't be too hard to make.. I see MK costumes all over the place.. If it's too hard, just go find the guys in the Mortal Kombat gangnam style video above!

Yet another purchase..
October was a busy month of purchases with Assassin's Creed 3 taking up the bulk of my budget.. So I vowed not to buy anything else for now...
But surprise, surprise.. I didn't stick to it.. But I have a good excuse! Who wouldn't grab a very nice deal for a rare item?
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Basketball

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Basketball
Remember the basketball lying in the court behind CJ's house? (and several other courts..)
This is a replica of that and was a promo item, I believe. GTA: San Andreas was my favourite GTA game of them all and I couldn't resist not getting this even though it wasn't on my list of must-haves..

The other package..
A Wooden Box..
Still a Wooden Box..
Didn't change.. Still wooden.. Still a box..
It opens magically..
An Assassin's Creed Tomahawk Replica
Specifically.. Connor's Tomahawk Replica
The head..
Middle..
The Handle..
Closer look at the feather..
A Masterpiece..
So what do you guys think? Yes I promised to show 2 items.. but the kind guy who sold me these items added the Declaration of Independence Replica in for good measure. I believe it was given out as a promo or gift during certain Assassin's Creed 3 events as a promotion item. Of course, with the story of the Assassin's Creed 3 game surrounding the American Revolution and their fight for Independence, its a truly nice touch.
It was sent folded in four but I don't know if I should be happy or sad about it.. But I'm always looking at the brighter side of things, so I feel it makes the Letter look a little worn out.. Still nice!
Then of course, the second item is the Altair Crouching figure. Once believed to be only released to certain people who worked on the first AC game that started it all. But the wonderful investigators at the CE forums have dug up info that it could have been sold via retail as well in Spain only. So many are there truly? I don't know for sure but it is still a very rare item which won't be sale easily or for cheap.
The guy who sold it to me has had it since back then and I was a bit worried it will look very old. Plus the box was missing. Even though the price was reasonably cheaper than what others claimed to have sold it for, it still wasn't cheap so naturally I was worried how it would turn out. But after seeing the figure, I am truly satisfied. Figure looks almost as good as new and I have to say a special thanks to the seller for the effort he put in with the packaging. And now I'm very happy to have this rare piece added to my collection after hunting for it for such a long time. Once the 2 latest Connor figures come in, my Assassin's Creed figure collection from this range will be complete.
And the highlight of the entire package.. the Assassin's Creed Tomahawk Replica..
Before you say.. "Hey isn't that the one.." I say Hold it right there! This is not the cheap looking tomahawk replica that is being sold in stores. Even back then when I first saw that replica, it didn't really grab my attention. Ok.. it was cool to have a tomahawk replica that looks like the one used by Connor in the game but it looked a bit too plastic-y to me..
But now.. after seeing this tomahawk replica, that one looks like a toy! Sorry to those who own that but I say what I feel. This replica is fucking awesome! It looks so much more realistic and it's so much more detailed. This one is also made of latex so it feels light when you pick it up but it certainly doesn't show. I spent a good 2 to 3 mins just staring at it when I first opened it. That's how awesome this thing looks.
As you can see, it also comes in a beautiful wooden box display with an indent so you can place the tomahawk nicely inside.
The seller also told me that this was only given to the press people and some Ubisoft employees and that there are only 300 made. It would have been nice if it was stated somewhere on the box though. Again I'm delighted to own this and I feel very privileged to own this marvelous item.
Hope you guys liked the pics and thanks for being patient while I got the pics ready!

And it continues...
No sooner after I'm done paying for all the Assassin's Creed 3 stuff and whatever else I plan to buy this year, new updates turn up..
On the way to work this morning, I checked my Facebook News Feed...
GTA V News!

GTA V News!
IGN posted news about these Photo Viewers. Those funny things where you look into it and see an image. Apparently early pre-orders at certain retailers will get one of 4 of these with various images of GTA V locations. Pretty cool but living in Singapore, I guess these won't be available here.. as always..
Have always loved the Grand Theft Auto series and the fabulous promo items they come up with, most of which aren't available for sale. Have a few random collectables of past GTA games and I was thinking of going all out with GTA V and try to get them all. We'll see how it goes..
Next up.. Death and Despair statue pics..
Fabulous! Been hoping and waiting for this and glad to see it finally all painted and almost ready. Hopefully no hiccups and this might come out sometime early next year perhaps?
So the spending never stops.. Was hoping for a long break from these collectables but I guess not. I got no complaints but maybe the Wife does.. Haha!
And just to tease you guys a little bit more on the very special items that I talked about yesterday...
The first image was a bad shot but I decided to use it as a teaser.. Improvise Baby!!!
Second image is a cropped pic of the real thing..
One's a rare item but many of you might probably have seen it before. The other I personally have never seen it anywhere before.
Post your guesses in the comments below. I'm currently uploading the pics and will do some minor editing before the final reveal. This is the last tease I promise you!

Some special additions to my collection...
Remember I was saying that I'm going to get something special and rare for my collection, sometime back. 2 in fact.. And I didn't want to reveal what they actually are, until they arrive. Well.. they are finally here!
Package was due to arrive today evening but tracking info updated it to be delivered by end of tomorrow. But while I was home eating dinner, the package turned up after all.. Checked the address of the sender just to be sure considering there are several packages on transit to me. True enough, it was THE package!
One on top of the other. By the time you read this post, I'll be done checking and taking pics of the unpacked items. Hoping there will be no disappointments. In a month where several packages are due, this is the outstanding highlight for me. Will post the pics later on once they are uploaded. Stay tuned! You wouldn't want to miss it! ;)
