For Honor Collector's Edition Announced

Another big Ubisoft game, and yet another Collector's Edition!

For Honor will come with a Collector's Edition that will feature the replica metal helmets of the 3 warrior factions.. Check it out!

It will include
- The For Honor Gold Edition game, which comes with the Season Pass
- Exclusive Collector's Box
- Three 1/3 scale, full metal warrior helmets on their wooden stand
- An exclusive lithography
- The game’s original soundtrack.

Even though I don't expect the Replica helmets to be of very high quality, I think this will look amazing. All 3 factions have been represented so no favouritism shown here.

Would love to try my hands on the gameplay before I decide if I should get this. Hopefully at our local GameStart convention!

UbiCollectibles' Assassin's Creed Ezio Bust Collection Pics

First of the trio..

As always, nice packaging..

Very very detailed. The bigger scale has allowed them to put in more details into the outfit and I got to say it.. The face sculpt! Ezio looks very realistic. Check out the 2nd picture above. Don't you agree? Looks like a real person.

The UbiCollectibles' Assassin's Creed line has produced some fine figurines over the years but I'll have to admit, the face sculpts needed a bit more work. Over here, they look great. I'm very impressed. Great work by the UbiCollectibles & Pure Arts teams!

The bust comes with a backdrop and I had a little fun with it.

Felt like the backdrop gave a bit of a Animus effect in the pics.. No?

Will update again with pics of the other Busts..

PS4 Pro & PS4 Slim announced

So.. nope, no big Red Dead Redemption 2 announcement made at the PlayStation Meeting, and nope no Remaster either.

The PlayStation Meeting event was to officially announce the PS4 Pro (previously known as PS4 Neo)  and the PS4 Slim.

I hate summarizing tech stuff so I'll just link you guys to it.. All the important info is here

I hear the haters getting riled up and I can say I understand them completely. Basically, we are getting a mid-gen console upgrade when the PS4 was supposedly 'the best console'. However, that's pretty much how technology is these days..

With 4K being the latest technology, the PS4 will need to catch up by providing 4K support and apparently only a new console is able to do that.

"All games will run in 1080p resolution, and some will even run in a higher or more stable framerate."

Question is.. are game developers going to push for that 60fps on consoles? Like a PC gamer friend of mine said.. "I'll take 1080p60 over 2160p30 any day".

And me? I always don't like to buy first-gen hardware. With the PSVR and now PS4 Pro all releasing this year, I would like to wait for the later batches of hardware which usually fix the issues that come with the first batch.

More importantly, I would like to see how the game support is for these, before throwing down my money.

Red Dead Redemption 2 to be announced later today?

PlayStation Meeting will be happening later today, at 3PM EST (3AM SGT) and it's widely expected that Red Dead Redemption 2 will finally be announced.

If you didn't know, RDR2 was rumoured to be taken out from PlayStation's E3 conference, because of the Orlando shooting. (apology for the reminder).

So, will it finally be time for RDR2 to be revealed or are going to see a remaster announcement instead. It will be a good chance for those who have never played it, a game that I rate as the best PS3 game I played, to get their hands on this.

However, having played the game twice, I would really like to see a sequel. There's just too many remasters already. Of course, if we are getting both, they why not?

Here's the link if you plan to watch the event live.

I'm Playing: Mafia 2

Yup you read that right.. I'm playing Mafia 2 right now as a build-up to Mafia 3

I had this game for a long, long time now but I'm only just starting on it.. And it feels good to finally start on one of my backlogs. Also, it's been a while since I turned on the PS3 so it was good to see it still working..

Yes, the graphics is a bit of a pain but I got used to it after a while.

I'm still rather early in the game but I'm enjoying it so far. The game did well to replicate the early 1950s, with cars, guns and music from that era. Love the voice-over acting on the characters. The characters are pretty much stereotypical but still entertaining.

Enjoying it so far and getting hyped up for Mafia 3 next month!

UbiCollectibles' Legacy Collection Litho Prints Collection Pics

Bought these not too long ago..

The trio of Altair, Altair Bronze Bust and Ezio Mentor was purchased from Ubi Store, in a special pack of 3 which included the exclusive litho prints. Thanks to a good friend & fellow collector, Margaret for helping me out with these.

Since, I'm only collecting the normal bust, the bronze Altair Bust is up for sale. Only bought this for the prints that came along with the package.

Will accept SGD$100 for this and will ship internationally if you can bear the shipping costs.

Anyway here are the prints.. They come individually in sealed envelopes

As someone who loves prints but can't bring myself to pay hundreds of dollars on the very limited prints, these free ones will do for me. They serve well as backdrops to the figures & statues (which I don't mind spending hundreds of dollars on!) that I own.

Can you see the Busts peeking from behind the lithos? I'll do a blog post on those in another update.
