Another leaked AC IV Trailer..

Another trailer leaked, this time featuring Edward Kenway..

I'm starting to think all this leaks are on purpose.. Who knows? It could be all part of their marketing strategy for their big reveal tonight (Singapore Time, 1.00am).

So what are we going to see in AC IV: Black Flags?

SPOILER ALERTS!

So I managed to embed the leaked video of the Assassin's Creed IV's world premiere trailer in my previous post. Just checked, that video is still working even though many others have been taken down. So yea.. go catch it before it gets taken down.

Just thought I should share some predictions, guesses and wishes for the latest game before details are revealed tomorrow. Of course there are going to be spoilers on AC 3, so be warned..

The new Assassin whom we will be playing is Edward Kenway, grandfather of Connor and father of Hatham Kenway. He was actually mentioned in AC 3 in an interactive dialogue between Desmond and Shaun if I remember correctly. Edward being an Assassin and so was his son Hatham, but was eventually converted into a Templar, which was what we saw in AC 3. Funny how I was wishing for more info about all this and now we have an actual game on Edward Kenway. Hoping to see if they will also reveal how Hatham got converted into a Templar.

Edward is a Pirate of sorts. In the trailer, Capt Blackbeard himself speaks so highly of Edward. Looks like they are building this Assassin is a real bad-ass. Not an Assassin out for revenge or to save his people. Seems like there will be way more naval missions which is great. Enjoyed them in AC 3 and glad to see more.

Set in the Caribbean? Some kind of homage to the Pirates of the Caribbean movies?

So of course now with Desmond dead, what will the back-story be like? Still going to have someone reliving their ancestors' memories? Of course, there could be other descendants just like Desmond. One example is his own dad. Will he be using the Animus now?

Will there even be a back-story? Now with Juno presumably trying to destroy the world or something, will the current-gen Assassins' goal be to save the world from Juno? In AC 3, there was talk about other locations just like the one they were in. Maybe they start searching for the other locations now?

Of course, these are my personal predictions. I may be totally wrong. There is so much story behind the Assassins and it's really interesting to find out how they all are connected. Just read about the Chinese Assassin, Shao Jun, the other day and found how her story linked with Ezio's. Reminds me to go watch The Embers movie. Now with Edward.

Some people are saying it's getting boring with the Assassin's Creed games, especially with the yearly releases, but I feel like I'm just getting started. I have played all the games but not yet completed them 100% and the DLC. There still seems to be so much more info in there that I have yet to uncover. Of course, the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedias I have are still untouched, so will need to get that started as well.

Ubisoft have plenty of studios around the world so I'm confident they will put good quality games even though I felt AC 3 was a little rushed. Of course being a collector, makes it doubly exciting. I'm already thinking of what stuff they can included in the CEs. However, "A Statue is a must.. Everything else is Secondary.." If there are good stories to tell and the game-play is kept fresh, I say bring them on!

Looks like the AC IV Trailer has been leaked

Details were supposed to come out later today but in this day and time, everything gets leaked..

Seems like this is the trailer for AC IV: Black Flags..

Will post some thoughts later..

Max Payne 3 Collection

Had some free time to get some photos of my updated Max Payne 3 Collection finally..

Bought the promo items from Rockstar Warehouse when they had the Black Friday sale last year. Cheaper shipping and items are on sale! Good stuff, they came in 2 packs but well worth it!

The Bullet Shell Casing Ashtray.
This one is rather heavy and bigger than it looks as you will see it later.

The Gun Magazine Flask
Very cool, most of the promo items are gun-themed. Bullets, gun magazines etc, and this is in the same theme.

The Pill Box
Haha, this one cracked me up when I first saw it. Something for those who have a pill addiction! Though you will lose track of the days if you actually use this to sort the pills.

The box for the Pill Box
Made it look like a medicine prescription. Very nice touch. Not as if Max Payne followed the instructions. The pill box didn't come with actual pills of course. Wouldn't want any crazy fans popping them..

UFE Patch

Promo stickers
Haven't figured out how this stickers are going to fit into my display yet. (I'm buying stuff that I think will go well as a display if you wanna know.. Things that compliment each other.)

Got these promo books on the cheap as well.

Comes with some very nice art work inside and brief details on the story and game as you can see below.

Thought the promo books will do well to compliment my Max Payne display.

Everything set up nicely..
Just missing the art prints that came with the Max Payne 3 Special Edition, everything else is in there. The Rockstar Warehouse also had the Bullet Pen but I already had that. The Bullet Keychain and statue were of course from the Special Edition so that's about everything I want to get for my collection.

Pretty cool, they look good altogether, better than I thought they would. Will be posting up some other stuff I got from GTA games so do check back soon!

Marvel Heroes MMO coming soon!

Been waiting for the Marvel Heroes MMO game ever since I heard about it...and it's coming out in the next few months!

Developed by one of the original geniuses behind Diablo 1 & 2, this game bears plenty of similarities with those. For me it reminds me a lot of the X-Men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance games. But it's gonna be much bigger since this is a MMO.

I have never played a MMO before so quite excited to see how this turns out. Game is completely free-to-play but if you want to unlock costumes and heroes from the start, you can purchase them at different prices for various amounts of content. At the moment, there are some exclusive content only if you purchase the Ultimate Pack at US$200. Hefty price but pretty worth it especially with the permanent 5% Bonus XP and item find. You even get your name into the game's credits! Pretty Cool!

Still deciding which hero I should play if I get the Ultimate Pack.
Black Panther is pretty cool and I have always liked his look, despite him not being one of the more popular heroes. Good thing is that I won't be seeing too many Black Panthers running around the world. But if I pay US$200 and not play one of the more exclusive characters, it might make me feel it wasn't worth it.

Deadpool in his pirate costume would be a better choice. His pirate costume is one of the enhanced costumes where it has enhanced effect, voiceovers etc. Would definitely make game-play more entertaining, definitely more so with Deadpool.

Of course, there is Thor, Hawk-Eye, Hulk among many others.. So, anyone else looking to get the game?

Django Unchained stole my name!

Watched Django Unchained yesterday and it was pretty good. Reminded me a little of Red Dead Redemption.. Not saying the movie copied the game but I just got reminded of RDR during certain scenes. Especially when the "Doctor" and Django went into the bar early on in the movie, and the bartender ran out.. I swear I could have heard him shout, "Help! I'm Herbet Moon!"

Of course, Django, should definitely have activated his "Dead-Eye" skill whenever there is a shootout. How else would he have been as good a gun-slinger like John Marston.

But wtf man.. they stole my name for Jamie Foxx's character, DJango. My PSN nick is Jengoboy and I go by the username "Dr_Jengo" on some forums. Wife was playfully teasing me about the name before the movie.

There was a scene in the movie where the name was highlighted.. "DJango.. The D is silent".
Well if you ask me, I'll tell you, "Jengo.. There is no D".

Trailer for Mortal Kombat Legacy Season 2

So it's finally here.. Until a few days ago, I was thinking that the new season would be starting this week  but it was only the release of the trailer.. Still gotta wait a while more before we can say "It has begun!".

So here's the trailer..

All kinds of high-octane action but somehow it has produced more 'huhs' rather than "wows" from me.

Firstly I don't recognise who a lot of the characters are. Initially, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Stryker, Liu Kang all didn't look anything familiar. Bald Shang Tsung? The first season had characters that I immediately recognise.

Not trying to put down the trailer though. I'm definitely excited about it.. Liu Kang, bad-guy? There will be a lot of action and I'm sure that Season 2 will be a hit. It's just that I spent more time trying to figure who's who rather than enjoying the action during my first view.

So definitely can't wait for the Tournament to begin and there's still no release date as of yet..
