Final Fantasy XV Film Collections Box open for Pre-Order

I'm not into this series but I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of interest in this..

With the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XV, an all new CG Movie, Kingsglaive, set during the events of the game will be released.

Synopsis:

"The magical kingdom of Lucis is home to the hallowed Crystal, but the menacing empire of Niflheim will stop at nothing to make it theirs. War has raged between the two for as long as most can remember.

King Regis of Lucis commands an elite force of soldiers dubbed the Kingsglaive. Wielding their king’s magic, Nyx Ulric and his fellow glaives stand before the crown city of Insomnia, fighting to stay the inexorable advance of Niflheim’s imperial army.

Before the overwhelming military might of the empire, King Regis can only salvage his kingdom by accepting anultimatum—he must cede all lands outside the crown city, and see his son, Prince Noctis, wed to Lady Lunafreya, the former princess of Tenebrae now captive of Niflheim.
As the war of wills rages, the machinations of Niflheim transform Insomnia into an awe-inspiring battleground, pulling Nyx into a struggle for the very survival of the kingdom.

KINGSGLAIVE features an all-star cast, including Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones) as King Regis, Lena Headey (300, Game of Thrones) as Princess Luna and Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) as Kingsglaive soldier Nyx."

and check out that gorgeous trailer!

and this is why I sometimes wonder why gaming movies aren't made in CGI? Amazing isn't it?

Mobile Monday: Uncharted Fortune Hunter

Been a while since I did the Mobile Monday section, but I'm back with a new mobile game - Uncharted Fortune Hunter!

Uncharted Fortune Hunter is a free-to-play Puzzle game, which sees Nathan Drake & Sully, solve puzzles to loot treasure, all while continuing their hilarious exchanges albeit in text form. If you know the characters, you can surely enjoy the conversations, reading it in their voices!

Go on, read it in their voices! You know you want to...

The Mobile game will allow you to unlock various rewards, some of which for the Uncharted 4 Console game.

These rewards can be unlocked via coins, keys or completing certain objectives.

Coins can be earned by solving puzzles or unlocking treasure chests via keys.

Unfortunately, once you open a chest, there's a wait time before you can open another.

and these wait times get longer as you unlock more!

Thankfully, you can get Sully to inform you whenever the game's ready to let you unlock the next chest!

The rewards for the Uncharted 4 game will require you to sign in to your existing PSN account (so much easier than other games that require you to register to a separate service!) and it will transfer automatically.

Does it work? I'll have to get the game first to try it out, hehe!

Of course, there's going to be micro-transactions!

As of now, it looks like they are 'time-saver packs' rather than exclusive items and I'm confident they will keep it that way, since they already revealed that all UC4 Multiplayer content will be free!

I'm enjoying the game so far.. The puzzles aren't that tough but I have only started.. Still plenty of puzzle challenges to complete..

and that's just the first section!

Uncharted Fortune Hunter is definitely not the same action as what we are used to in Uncharted 4 but if you enjoy puzzle solving, this is worth checking out.

Being able to unlock additional content for the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer is definitely a bonus, especially if the mobile content is exclusive and you stand out from the rest. Do try it out, and let me know what you think!

What if... Nathan Drake dies in Uncharted 4 because of...

I have been playing the Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection recently, trying to complete the trilogy before the release of Uncharted 4.

Really good stuff, can't believe I have been missing out on the series up till now. Fighting off bad guys, puzzle solving, digging up mystical treasures etc, all packed with interesting characters and an intriguing plot.

Oh and did I say.. digging up mystical treasures.. Yea some of the creatures and mystical objects seem out of this world.. some of which can be destructive to the world if they fall in the wrong hands..

That got me thinking..

What if.. Nathan Drake dies in Uncharted 4 because of the virus from The Last of Us?

It could be that Drake catches the virus or someone with the virus kills him.. The events in UC4 could lead to the events in TLOU. While not confirmed, there's been talk that the Uncharted and The Last of Us games share the same universe.. So why not?

Possible, no? Share your thoughts below!

Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Updates

Uncharted 4's Single Player story mode will probably be the first thing everyone's going to jump into when the game releases next week.

However, to keep us playing long after we the story is done, Naughty Dog has huge plans in store..

With new content lined up till mid of next year, there's plenty of reasons to keep coming back to UC4's multiplayer modes.

And.. if you are thinking, sorry man, I don't buy Multiplayer DLC.. there's good news for you!

Naughty Dog has announced that all Multiplayer content will be accessible without any monetary costs. While new Maps & Modes will be available to everyone free-of-charge on the same day, Gameplay items can be unlocked via Relics, the in-game currency.

Got to say I give a huge thumbs up to Naughty Dog for this decision.
While I don't fully disagree with paid content; By providing new Multiplayer content for free, they have a strong vision to keep the Multiplayer community alive for a long time.. which is ultimately the most important key in Multiplayer games.

Of course, hopefully the content is exciting and intriguing enough for players to keep playing.

For all the details on Uncharted 4's Multiplayer, check out the US PlayStation Blog.

Just under a week more for UC4's release! Here's a short trailer to keep you going till next week..

Singapore fans, don't forget to check out the Midnight Launch event for Uncharted 4 happening on May 9, 6pm to May 10, 2am!

Titan Comics' Assassin's Creed #1 All Variants Collection pics

Finally got these all in and took pics of each one of them!

All 20 of them! Definitely some obstacles in acquiring all of these but what matters is they are all in safe & sound.

A huge thanks to my friend, Quentin for helping me purchase these separately and then shipping all of these over to me. Have to say, I couldn't have completed this without his help or might have had to pay a lot more to get these individually shipped.
Also, not forgetting Math and the Access the Animus team for all the info on the different variants.

Now, for the individual looks on each cover..

With the start of this new Assassin's Creed comic series, plenty of well-known artists were roped in to produce several variant covers. While I have heard of these, I have never gone on a mission like this to collect 20 variant covers of a single issue... and what amazing art they have produced..

1. Cover A (Neil Edwards)

2. Cover D (Neil Edwards)

3. Cover B (Neil Edwards)

4. Cover C (Adam Gorham)

5. Cover E (Blank Sketch)

6. Cover Prime (Marco Turini)

7. Books a Million Variant (Yishan Li)

8. Diamond UK Variant (Ashley Marie Witter)

9. Larry's Comics Coloured Variant (Angel Hernandez)

10. Larry's Comics B&W Variant (Angel Hernandez)

11. New York City Comic Con Variant (Dennis Calero)

12. Newbury Comics Variant (Elena Casagrande)

13. Forbidden Planet Jetpack Variant (Lee Garbett)

14. Fan Expo Coloured Variant (Jamie Tyndall)

15. Fan Expo B&W Variant (Jamie Tyndall)

16. Yesteryear Comics Variant (Jamie Tyndall)

17. Hot Topic Variant (Rachel Stott)

18. Hastings Variant (Mariano Laclaustra)

19. Barnes & Noble Variant (Mariano Laclaustra)

20. Gamestop Variant (Mariano Laclaustra)

20 covers, 12 artists and 1 amazing start to this series. Love the collection and thanks once again to those who made this possible!

So many to choose from, but I like the ones done by Jamie Tyndall the best. The look given reminds me of those 90s comics where women were drawn with seductive eyes and full lips. Haha! Love those? Which is your favourite? Do let me know!

I will continue posting pics of variants of all the different issues as I take pics!

Also thanks to Access the Animus' Database for all the detailed info.
