Syco Collectibles' Mortal Kombat 9 Jade 10" Statue Collection pics

Finally made the difficult decision to sell off the last few statues from my Syco Collectibles' Mortal Kombat collection. The ladies..

Jade is the first to go, so just took some pics for memories before she's gone forever..

The Box Art

COA & The Base

and now for Lovely Jade..

A switch out, compressed staff

What a beauty!! Love that pose! Got to say that the MK9 designs are my favourites for the ladies, which is why it took me so long to sell them.

Just hoping that PCS Collectibles will eventually revisit the MK9 designs for the ladies..

Signed & Laminated Assassin's Creed Unity Concept Art Prints Collection Pics

Got these beauties not too long ago!

2 laminated pieces of Assassin's Creed Unity Concept Art by none other than Tony Zhou Shuo himself. Tony is a well-known concept artist & illustrator whose work for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed have been featured many times, including several Art Books.

From my sources, these laminated & signed pieces were given out in a business meeting with Ubisoft Singapore.

Here's a closer look at the first piece

Actually received this piece back at Ubisoft Singapore's Charity Jam, last year but this one is laminated and signed. So, definitely worth a purchase!

The second piece..

Also signed & laminated.

Usually, I don't rate signed pieces from random sources. To me, a signed piece should be something you receive in person.
I am lucky enough to own a few pieces that I have got personally signed by the 'person-of-interest' and those will always be very special memories.

That said, I got nothing against buying signed pieces from others and here's where I have made an exception myself, because of how close it is to home. Always love a special collectible from Ubisoft Singapore!

Uncharted 4 Treasure Chest with Coins Pics

Picked this up for a friend and he was nice enough to let me take some pics for the blog!

A mini treasure chest replica with fake coins inside. This was given out as a contest prize given out at the Singapore Uncharted 4 Midnight Launch event organised by PlayStation Asia. From what I know, only 3 of these were given out.

Given a nice weathered and vintage look.

A small envelope with a note inside..

More of a promo note for the game and the different editions that were available in Singapore.

Every treasure chest needs to have its treasure..

A very, very cool-looking promo item given out by PlayStation Asia! Hopefully they will continue making similar quality collectibles in the future for more games!

PCS Collectibles' Mortal Kombat teases and updates

Starting to do this a bit more frequently now but here's more updates from PCS Collectibles in regards to their Mortal Kombat products!

June was a big and expensive month for myself. Pre-ordered all 3 Exclusive Cyborgs and was lucky enough to score an Artist Proof on 2 of them..

Very glad but at the same time, the OCD is kicking in for a Sektor AP to conplete the set. Contact me, maybe?

Not a lot left on these so if you intend to pick these up, better get them quick. Sometimes the ES (Edition Size) gets cut when they are nearing production so that PCS won't have too much extra stocks to store.

Not only did they turn out amazing, but like Jerry from PCS said.. fans might never get another 1/4 Cyborg ever again..

With 3 POs done, their latest Mortal Kombat X piece was also up for Pre-order.

That base alone, looks phenomenal and with Scorpion atop it, this is 1 badass piece. Just pre-ordered the EX version but I was quite disappointed that they only had 1 EX version.

They could have dangled another variant in front of me and I would have bit. My wallet thanks the heavens though..

Another piece almost close to selling out, pick this up if you can!

Hopefully, there will be a good long break before the next Mortal Kombat PO comes up.. and here's a few teases on what might be next..

Mortal Kombat X Life-Size Busts

PCS Collectibles have some of the best-looking life-sized Video Game Character Busts out there. While initially it seemed that we might not be getting any more from Mortal Kombat, 2 MKX Busts have been teased. No surprise that they will be Scorpion & Sub-Zero!

The initial teases..

Sculpting has already begun..

Check out that concept art on the wall..

Work in progress of the two..

I bought only the MK9 Scorpion Bust and skipped on the Sub-Zero one. Will wait for the full reveal to decide if I'll do both or just Scorpion again.

Here's another very early tease..

Concept art of 2 options for a 1/3 Goro from Mortal Kombat X. There's a poll going on at StatueForum and PCS wants to know which option collectors would prefer.

I liked Option 1's pose better but Option 2's base kicks ass. Maybe a mixture of both?

That said.. I'm in 2 minds of a 1/3 MKX Goro. A prospect of owing a 1/3 Goro regardless of version is mouth-watering, Just imagine the presence of a 1/3 Goro

However, I would have preferred for the MKX Statues to stay in the 1/4 scale to go with the others.

Regardless of what decision is taken, I'll be watching this very, very closely..

As always, Jerry has some answers to the many questions we have..

A 1/4 Klassic Kitana has always been in the plans and here's a recent confirmation once again.

Not a lot of teases on what's next, apart from what I have already updated in my previous posts but it's been mentioned a few times that if sales goes well, PCS Collectibles will keep doing more characters.

I guess that's fair enough, a company has to make a certain amount of profit to keep a line going...

Mortal Kombat has plenty of interesting characters that have yet to be done so I'm praying hard that we will be able to get as many as we can!

Collection Updates - 03 Jul 2016

The June Holidays are always a good time to take week-long breaks from work. However, even with a 'long' break, time just seems to fly.. but I managed to do something productive during my latest break.

Bought more Ikea Billy Bookcases for more of my collection to go up on the new shelves, including some new items!

You might have seen these before, but I recently tracked down the Gentleman version locally, which completes the collection of the NECA Claptraps

This reminds me of how disappointed I was when NECA didn't continue with producing the Vault Hunter figures. I would definitely have bought the entire lot of them and even more Claptrap variants. Even some of the popular NPCs would have been nice and I would have bought half a dozen bandits to create an army.. Ahh I can only dream now..

But hey! With SDCC just around the corner, I would love to hear an announcement of someone picking up the Borderlands license.. Maybe 1:12 figures?

Nothing new here, just re-arranged some figures and decided to take another shot of my Darkness collection.
A very humble collection until I receive the One Statue to rule them all.. *cough* XM *cough* Studios *cough*

Nothing new again here but with that major E3 announcement, this deserves another shot! A bearded Kratos needs to join this collection! Where I'm going to place him is another question though..

I have been wanting to expand the God of War collection with some bigger pieces but there's other priorities at the moment.. One day hopefully..

Watch Dogs! Another major announcement for E3, so I had to dig out these items so that they finally get their own shelf. Very nice theme going with the collectibles, don't you think?

Let's see what the sequel will bring to the collection at the end of the year..

Speaking of E3 announcements, I was quietly hoping for some news about a new game in the series. Didn't happen though. Got all the inFamous collectibles onto 1 shelf. A bit empty but hopefully will have something to add soon..

These guys deserve a better spot than the bottom shelves but they have to make do for now.. Should be able to put more of the PCS Collectibles' Mortal Kombat statues on display as I set up more shelves.

Saved the best story for last..

With more and more additions coming in, some had to go.. These Sackboy keyrings were on the list that were going to be up for sale. The idea was to take a group shot of them all and put it up for sale.

Not sure what happened but I think it had something to do with Sony's E3 press conference. Lining these PlayStation Heroes up, I could swear I was cheering.. "Sony! Sony! Sony!"

Decided to not only keep the collection but expand on it. So, if there's anyone who has the Bloodborne, The Last of Us Joel & Ellie, Uncharted 4 versions, do drop me a PM as I would love to add them to my collection!

That's all for now.. 3 more shelves and a ton of collectibles are waiting to be shared. Check back again for more!
