The wait for this year's Assassin's Creed stuff seems to have taken a lot longer than usual but here's the first.. the US Collector's Edition.
Got the PS4 edition of course.. This is after taking off the slip cover, which I did take pics of but accidentally deleted.
Comes with some standard CE contents like the..
Strangely, this year, the mini Artbook comes in a portrait layout rather than the usual landscape style that's so common of these mini Artbooks. Looks the same size though..
Some pics inside..
As much I as enjoy the Soundtracks of the AC franchise, I haven't been using the discs from the different CEs over the years. I'll just plug in to YouTube whenever I'm in the mood.. They really should start including digital codes to download the soundtracks together with the disc.
But then they decide you should play your own music manually with this..
The music box plays the ever-famous tune of Ezio's Family from AC2 which is also supposedly part of the AC Unity theme song.
Very cool part of the CE, brings back a lot of memories of Ezio who does look a lot like AC Unity's Arno to be honest.
Speaking of Arno.. What is a Assassin's Creed Collector's Edition without a Arno figurine?
I don't have an answer to that so just let me show you pics of the..
Great looking statue, have him on display up high on a shelf and it looks amazing.
I appreciate the more dynamic expression that they have give him in this which adds a lot more character to the figurine rather than the usual expressionless ones from the previous figurines.
I forgot to check but I'm assuming this was done by PureArts under the UbiCollectibles brand as well. Good stuff!
Assassin's Creed Unity (US) Collector's Edition
Pretty standard contents for a Assassin Collector's Edition with the Artbook, Figurine and Soundtrack. They did something different with the Music Box however. Map and Steelbook are a no-show this year so it certainly feels like we are getting less for the same price with this Collector's Edition.
A little disappointed to be honest but I'll just enjoy looking at the Arno figurine.
